How the game works

  1. Each round every player gets the same number of cards. The hand size goes down and then back up.
  2. The 1-card hand repeats once per player. So each player deals the 1-card hand one time.
  3. Turn the next card for trumps. In a no-card round, play with no trumps.
  4. Each player bids the number of tricks they will win. The dealer bids last.
  5. With "screw the dealer" on, the bids must not total the number of tricks. So one player always fails.
  6. Play the hand. Follow suit if you can. The highest trump wins, or the highest card of the suit led.
  7. Enter the tricks won. The tricks must total the hand size.
  8. An exact bid scores the bonus plus the tricks won. A missed bid scores by your chosen rule.
  9. House rule "must make the bid": win more than your bid and you score the tricks won, with no bonus. Win fewer than your bid and you score nothing.
  10. The highest total after the last round wins.

This tracker keeps the score only. It does not deal the cards.
